The Dhuningarraay-gal dhiyaan dhiirali (old people teach family) project is about restoring and renewing belonging and identity, cultural pride and a thirst for ongoing learning.

This series of workshops for Elders and community members share and strengthen local Aboriginal Cultural Knowledge, family and community relationships and responsibilities. The workshop held 30 October 2014 was sharing information about Walgett family histories,  relationships and researching teachniques. It was held by Michael Bennett, historian.
